WHY STACIA WHATLEY

17 Years in Gig Harbor. Still Here. Still Selling.

I didn't come back to Hawkins-Poe because I ran out of options. I came back because this is the work I actually want to be doing.

I started my real estate career here in Gig Harbor, learning every neighborhood, every price band, and every quirk of the Tacoma Narrows corridor that makes this market behave differently than the rest of the South Sound.

In April 2022 I left Hawkins-Poe to become Office Leader at John L. Scott Silverdale, running an office of 55+ brokers. Leading brokers means reviewing their contracts, coaching them through the deals that go sideways, and watching the same expensive mistakes repeat across dozens of transactions. You see patterns from that seat that you never see from inside a single deal.

I stepped down from that role in November 2024, stayed on as a broker there through February 2025, then came back to Hawkins-Poe. Back to working with clients directly, one at a time, in the market I know best.

You can hire someone who happens to sell in Gig Harbor. Or you can hire someone who built a career here, left to lead, and chose to come back to it.
